Susan Fenster
Executive Director/Area Director
Susan Fenster was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Go Steelers and Penguins!) She graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Psychology. She then went on to become a Social Worker.
Sue Moffitt
Director of Wellness
Sue was born in Asheville, N.C. and moved to Farmville, N.C., where she was raised and still calls Farmville home. She attended Campbell University and received her Nursing degree from Wilson School of Nursing. She has been an R.N. for 50 years.
Monica Wojtkowski
Director of Sales
Monica was born in Pittsburgh (Go Steelers), but mostly grew up in Middletown, NY. She received her bachelors in hotel management from East Stroudsburg University and went on to spend 27 years in the hotel industry. Eight years ago she found her true passion when she began working in the senior living industry.
Monita Blackmon
Director of Dining Services
Chef Mo first began her career with The Blake as Chef, then Sous Chef, and now Dining Services Director. Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, she attended the Art Institute of Charlotte & graduated with an associate’s degree in culinary arts in 2008. Before cooking professionally, she was employed at Bank of America for 19.5 years, but has been cooking since she was 13 years old.
Redouane Ouaala
Director of Facilities
Redouane Ouaala, who goes by Red, is from Azilal, Morocco. He attended college in Morocco, where he studied sociology and language. He speaks five different languages, but his native languages are Berber and Arabic. He also speaks French, Spanish, and, English. He has worked in Facilities Management since 2016 for several types of communities: from independent living to skilled nursing facilities.
Hope Ellis
Director of Activities
Hope was born and raised in Lancaster, SC with educational experience in medical management. She was introduced to assisted living when her grandmother had to move to a memory care community. When asked why she loves senior living and memory care, she said, “I love the memory care side because every day is a new day with my residents. I enjoy the good days but I love the small victories. Those are the moments I live for.”
Tynaizha Miller
Director of Memory Care
Tynaizha is originally from Wilmington, NC. She has an associate degree from Louisburg College and a B.A. in medical sociology. She is currently in nursing school to become an LPN and has been a CNA since 2015. She is also certified in phlebotomy and medication administration. Tynaizha’s favorite part about the industry is enhancing care for residents and serving as additional support for families.
